After a very rainy night, we slept in a little and got up for church. We visited the Adventist church in Lawai. We had a great service and the congregation was very welcoming. After church, we went into Poipu to pick up my race packet for the half marathon. Once we picked it up, we drove the entire course (which is very helpful and something I will do for all future races…..) The course is beautiful, but hilly. The course ends with ocean views starting at about mile 10 and is downhill from there.

After lunch and an afternoon nap (getting ready for the race!), we went back into Poipu to visit some beaches. We had a fabulous sunset on the beach. We went to bed early because the race starts at 6:00 am on Sunday.
